April 5, 2025- Following the successful launch of the first five electric jeepneys last October 2024, Cebu People has now launched an additional five units, bringing the total number of electric jeepneys in operation to 10. These vehicles will serve the route from Fortune Towne, via SM, to the Central Market Loop.

The turnover ceremony was attended by Bacolod City Mayor Albee Benitez, who expressed strong support for the initiative and highlighted plans for expanding charging stations throughout the city.

This marks a significant milestone in Bacolod’s journey toward a greener, more sustainable future for all.
