July 13, 2023 – Mayor Albee Benitez warmly accommodated the courtesy call of the National Amnesty Commission (NAC) to recognize the official establishment of a Local Amnesty Board (LAB) in the city earlier today at the City Mayor’s Office, Bacolod City Government Center.

Graced by NAC Chairperson Leah Tanodra Armamento, NAC Commissioners Jamar Kulayan and Nasser Marohomsalic, Atty. Marylin Pintor, and Atty. Ma. Victoria Cardona.

The courtesy call allowed an opportunity for the commission to start a discourse that will foster the organization’s growth and to readily offer its services to the public such as receiving applications, vet applicants, and to recommend the grant or denial of amnesty applications through its Local Amnesty Board.
