The office of the City Mayor (CMO) and the City Development Council conducted a Local Special Bodies Joint Organizational Meeting at the Bacolod City Government Center lobby.

The local special bodies represented are the City Development Council (CDC), Local Health Board (LHB), Local School Board (LSB), and Peace and Order Council (POC).

The meeting was chaired by the City Mayor, Hon. Alfredo Abelardo Benitez joined with the board of committees present; Hon. Jude Thaddeus A. Sayson (SP Chairperson, Committee on Appropriations & Finance), Ms. Ma. Joy Maredith R. Madayag (DILG Director), Ms. Mary Jean L. Ramos (CDC Head Secretariat), and Hon. Lady Glez F. Gonzales-Pallen (President, Association of Barangay Councils)

During the meeting, Mayor Benitez presented his executive agenda consisting of his proposed plans and projects for the City.

Two agendas are being discussed in the said event, from CDC and POC.

Under the CDC agenda, Hon. Jude Thaddeus A.Sayson was elected as the new Vice Chairperson for CDC, while Rustico E. Año from Pag-inupdanay for Urban Poor for Decent Housing and Livelihood as the elected Private Sector Representative (CSO).

In the meeting, it was motioned authorizing Mayor Benitez to appoint the Chairman, Vice Chairman and Members for the selection of the sectoral committees for social, economic, infrastructure, environment and administration.

Furthermore, POC agenda discussed the adoption of the Joint CDC-CPOC Resolution on the Reconstitution/Reorganization of Bacolod City, Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (CTF-ELCAC)

The joint meeting were also participated by the Non-Government Organizations, Barangay Captains, LSB, LHB, and POC representatives.
