September 25, 2023–The Bacolod City Government Employees Sportsfest kicked off with a burst of energy as participants gathered for an early morning fun run. The race, which began at 5 am, saw enthusiastic runners starting from BCGC and making their way to Metro Bacolod Hospital and Metro Medical Center and back.
Among the competitors, Brieck Cabrillos from Cluster 1 emerged as the champion, completing the run in an impressive 23 minutes. Caballero, Abraham from Cluster 4 secured the second position, followed closely by Aivan Hope Clustery Inventor, also from Cluster 4, in third place.
The excitement didn’t end with the run, as a colorful parade featuring all the players and a lively Zumba session added to the festive atmosphere.
In addition to the fun run, the Sportsfest featured other competitions, including Best Muse contest and a Cheerdance competition. Cluster 1 took the top spot in the BEst Muse category, with Clusters 5 and 2 securing the second and third positions, respectively.
When it came to Cheerdance, Cluster 5 wowed the crowd and claimed the first place, with Clusters 4 and 2 following closely in second and third place.
The Sportsfest proved to be a day of camaraderie, healthy competition, and vibrant performances for the Bacolod City Government Employees.
