April 16, 2024—Bacolod City PrimeWater hosted a Blessing Ceremony and Groundbreaking for two water source projects: the Forbes Hill Water Source Interconnection and Pipelaying Project, and the Highland Hills Water Source Development.

The Forbes Hill project will bolster water supply by 2MLD, benefiting residents of Barangays Eroreco, Bata, and Mandalagan, while the Highland Hills project aims to deliver an additional 2MLD to Barangays Granada and Vista Alegre.

The event was attended by Bacolod City Engr. Loben Rafael Ceballos, BACIWA-PRIMEWATER, PWIC, and Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA).

The additional 4MLD from these 2 sources was Primewater’s additional commitment after the Water Summit last January 19, 2024, prompted by Mayor Albee Benitez.
