October 9, 2023- The City Development Council (CDC) convened for a crucial meeting presided over by Mayor Albee Benitez at the La Proa 1 L’Fisher Hotel, Bacolod City.

Key attendees included Hon. Celia Flor, DILG Director Ms. Ma. Joy Maredith Madayag, ABC President Hon. Lady Gles Pallen, City Administrator Atty. Pacifico Maghari, City Planning and Development Coordinator Ms. Mary Jane Ramos, SP Chairperson, Committee on Appropriation and Finance Hon. Thaddy Sayson, and other CDC members.

The agenda covered various vital points, such as the approval of COC Execom Resolution Nos 04 to 10, all series of 2023, the supplemental/additional Annual Investment Program (AIP) for 2024, Supplemental/Additional Annual Investment Program (AIP) 2024 Chargeable to 20% Development Fund, Reprogramming/Realignment AIP 2024, Supplemental/Additional AIP 2023, Reprogramming/Realignment AIP of Previous Years, Resolution Adopting and Endorsing BCDRRMC Resolution No. 22 S. 2023, and Resolution Adopting and Endorsing BCDRRMC Resolution No. 22 S. 2023.

In addition, the Local Project Monitoring Committee (LPMC) and Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) updates were presented, underscoring the commitment to effective city planning and development.

With Mayor Albee Benitez’s leadership and the collective expertise of the CDC members, the meeting served as a pivotal moment in steering the city towards a future marked by sustainable growth and responsive governance.
