Today, the ICT Industry Development Bureau (IIDB) of DICT has successfully conducted the Startup Community and Locale Enhancement (SCALE) Start Mapping Workshop that brought together a diverse group of agencies and institutions in Bacolod City.
The workshop’s agenda included a Validation Activity, which involved a thorough review of the Ecosystem Canvass and Ecosystem Maturity Model.
Additionally, participants engaged in a Roadmap Development Workshop and were treated to a presentation of results and discussions led by Consultant Mr. Jonathan De Luzuriaga.
Notable attendees included Spring Valley TECH Corp., KCAT INC., Technopal Software, Colmeia Corporation, IF Green, Auto-mate SOLN INC., Ayo Tech Corporation, and several esteemed educational institutions such as La Consolacion College Bacolod, University of St. La Salle, Riverside College, Inc., University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos, NOLITC, and many more.
Also present in the event were Bacolod’s LEDIPO head and newly elected president of BNeFIT, Dr. Mae Ferrer-Llamas and Bacolod SP Chairman on Committee on Information and Communications Technology, Councilor Jason Villarosa.
Councilor Jason also highlighted in his message that he is very thankful for this activity, especially since Mayor Albee is gearing towards digitization efforts in Bacolod City.
This demonstrates a strong commitment to embracing technology and innovation for the city’s development.
