April 11, 2024–Mayor Albee Benitez’s ‘Patubig Sa Barangay’ program is actively addressing water shortages caused by El Niño in various areas of the city. Through the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO), seventeen stainless steel water tanks, each with a capacity of 2,000 liters, were delivered to Barangays Villamonte, Handumanan, and Mansilingan.

Ten tanks were distributed to Brgy. Mansilingan, placed at Prk. Himaya and Prk. Paghidaet. In Brgy. Handumanan, they were deployed to Prk. San Antonio, Cadena De Amor, Tapulanga Hills, Narra, Golden Rosary, and Mahogany. In Brgy. Villamonte, the tanks were placed at Prk. Isla and Gugma.
