Bacolod City employees took part in the First Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) earlier today, March 13, 2025.

As the earthquake alarm sounded, employees promptly followed the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” protocol before evacuating to designated safe zones.

The NSED, conducted quarterly and led by the Bacolod City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office under the leadership of Dr. Anna Marie Pornan, aims to enhance earthquake preparedness and response. The drill raises awareness and provides the public, including schools, with an opportunity to practice essential safety measures.
