Bacolod City officially launched Bible Week 2024 at the Bacolod City Government Center grounds in line with City Ordinance No. 433. The week-long event is set to unfold from January 22 to 28, 2024.

Initiated by Councilor Renecito Novero, Chairman of the Committee on Human Rights, this year’s theme is “GOD’s WORD: The Breath of New Life,” drawing inspiration from Genesis 2:7 and 2 Timothy 3:16-17.

Throughout the week, participants can partake in diverse activities, including Bible Storytelling, an On-the-Spot Painting Contest, Bible Extemporaneous Speaking, Speech Choir, Bible Got Talent, Binalaybay, and Bible Drill/Bible Quiz.

The awarding and culminating event is scheduled for January 26, 2024, at Ayala Malls Capitol Central, featuring a Bible Concert showcasing Pillars of Fire.
