November 13, 2023 – In an effort to support the community, the city initiated an Indemnification program addressing the effect of the ASF outbreak.

With the support of Mayor Albee Benitez, the city distributed financial assistance to affected breeders. Ranging from 3k to 30k, these funds aim to alleviate the economic impact on individuals whose livelihoods have been affected by the devastating consequences of ASF.

The assistance was awarded by Atty. Romeo Carlos Ting Jr. , Councilor Thaddy Sayson, Dr. Anna Maria Laarni Pornan, and Dr. Ma. Agueda Trinidad Dela Torre.
