The Department of Social Service and Development Office (DSSD) held an orientation yesterday for the beneficiaries under the sustainable livelihood program at Villamonte Gym, March 29, 2023.

There were 145 beneficiaries from different barangays in the city that were chosen and screened to be part of the program.

The purpose of the orientation is to identify the skill set of each beneficiary in order to provide them proper training for their livelihood.

According to DSSD with the help of the DSWD Region 6 Sustainable Livelihood Program they will create a Bacolod Livelihood Associations for the beneficiaries to make sure that the assistance given to them will generate income and be more sustainable.
