As local farmers grapple with the effects of the African Swine Fever (ASF) outbreak, Mayor Albee Benitez persists in implementing the Sustainable Livelihood Program. Today, payouts were distributed at the BCGC Lobby.
A total of 43 ASF hog raisers received P10,000 each, alongside 148 livelihood beneficiaries, to pursue sustainable income-generating activities. Additionally, the amount for medical assistance for 68 individuals will depend on their assessment.
This initiative, part of the Sustainable Livelihood Program, aims to support local farmers affected by the ASF outbreak, enabling them to recover and sustain their livelihoods.
