October 14, 2023- The Static Display at Bacolod Old Airport, led by LTC Ramedinthine Tolentino PAF (GSC), Tactical Operations Group 6 – Group Commander, serves as a compelling showcase of the latest capabilities of the Philippine Air Force, featuring S70-i Black Hawk and UH-1 Philippine Air Force helicopters.

The primary purpose of the static display is to communicate the critical role these combat utility helicopters play in disaster response and relief operations.

The accompanying booth highlights rescue equipment employed during such crises and emphasizes the involvement of the Philippine Air Force Reserve, which consists of trained civilians ready to support in times of need.

The static display runs from October 13 to October 15 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Since the commencement of the static display yesterday, a steady influx of visitors has been witnessed at the Bacolod Old Airport.

The event not only showcases the Philippine Air Force’s impressive capabilities but also highlights their critical role in disaster response and relief efforts.

The Static display at the Bacolod Old Airport is part of the Supercity Runway Masskara 2023 event.
