Governor Eugenio Jose “Bong” Lacson received from President Marcos the Certificate of Award for the palay seeds of 100 farmers in the province under the DA’s Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund. Around 52,249 hectares are covered by the assistance for planting.

He was joined by DILG Secretary Mr. Benhur Abalos, Jr., Secretary Anton Lagdameo -Special Assistant to the President, Mayor Albee Benitez, 3rd District Representative Congressman Kiko Benitez, Congressman Greg Gasataya, Mayor Neil Lizares of Talisay City.
