January 30, 2025- The Philippine Coast Guard, led by Commodore Ludovico D. Librilla Jr., District Commander of the Coast Guard District Southern Visayas, paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Albee Benitez today at the City Mayor’s Office.

During the visit, the Coast Guard requested the Mayor’s assistance in identifying a suitable location for their Provincial Office, as their current station in Banago is too small to accommodate their operational control unit.

Mayor Benitez expressed the city’s full support and assured the Coast Guard that they would assist in locating a more appropriate site for their operations.
