In line with our Nutrition Month theme, Healthy Diet Gawing Affordable For All, we have launched the Fruit Tree Planting Activity in partnership with Brgy 31 Council lead by PB German Bullolaza where in addition to the gulayan sa paaralan adopted by the barangay, we planted papaya plant in the aim to have additional food for the table of our beneficiaries of the school and the barangay.

Just last week, the barangay already had their 2nd harvest since they developed their school garden with the DILG Memo No. 2023-0001 or the Project Hapag or the Halina’t Magtanim ng Prutas at Gulay sa Barangay Project.

Present today was School Principal Ann Marie Latergo, Kap. German Bullolaza, CNAO Dr. Rosalie G. Deocampo, CNPC Lora Clarin, ND III Myrrah Lei Unson and ND II Beverly Gatchalian, BNS Rachel Balverde, other CNC Staff and Barangay Officials and Personnel.

This coming July 14, 2023, another fruit-tree planting activity will be conducted in GK Village in Barangay Sum-ag.
