October 20, 2023 – On their 26th year of organizational partnership and sisterhood, the Rotary Club of Metro Bacolod and the Rotary Club of Manila Bay officially inaugurated the Rotary-Bolinao Day Care Center of its beneficiary community, Purok Bolinao, Brgy. 1 today at Brgy. 1 Gym, Bacolod City.

Together with Mayor Albee were Senator Risa Hontiveros, Rotary District Governor Mate Espina, Former Rotary Club of Metro Bacolod President Richard Jeric L. Chua, Former Rotary Club of Manila Bay President William Emmanuel Yu, Incumbent Rotary Club of Metro Bacolod President Jade Diaz, Incumbent Rotary Club of Manila Bay President Jonathan Juan Moreno, DSSD North Cluster Supervisor Bernadith Fuentes, and Brgy. 1 Punong Barangay Cesar Rellos Jr.

The mentioned coordinated project between the Rotary Clubs of Metro Bacolod and Manila Bay is the renovation and rehabilitation of the Bolinao Day Care Center made possible by the assistance of Senator Risa Hontiveros with the willingness to help marginalized communities within the city and was bestowed the Meritorious Excellence Plaque of Appreciation.

Moreover, Brgy. 1 residents were entertained by the performance of Brgy. 1 Masskara dancers and the special appreciation performance by the Bolinao Day Care Center Kids.
