Mayor Albee Benitez, along with City Administrator Dr. Lucille Gelvolea, DSSD Head Ms. Alma Gustilo, Sectoral Head Ms. Carmeli Bantug, City Budget Officer Ms. Imelda Williams, Councilor Vladimir Gonzalez, and officers from PWD Federations, tackled various concerns and engaged in consultative discussions.

The Bacolod Integrated Federation of PWD Associations, Inc. presented their issues and concerns, especially the establishment of an official Federation Office and office personnel, along with project proposals.

The meeting also included discussions with the Bacolod Integrated Deaf Association, focusing on the needs of the Deaf Association Community and plans for the Bacolod City Deaf kiosk. Furthermore, consultative sessions with the Parent Association of Children with Special Needs shed light on their concerns.

Present during the meeting were PWD Federations, such as Bacolod Integrated Federation of PWD Associations, Inc., Bacolod Integrated Deaf Association, Negrense Deaf Club, Inc., Parents Association of Children with Special Needs, Autism Society of the Philippines-Bacolod, Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines-Bacolod, and SPED Bacolod President.

Mayor Albee assured his full support to address the challenges faced by the PWD communities in Bacolod City.
