December 19, 2023 – The Zonta Club of Bacolod and

Hawakapwa Foundation, Inc came together to launch a Food Share Program for 60 families in Brgy. Alangilan. This event is conducted in partnership with Kabisig ng Kalahi and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

The ceremony opened with a warm welcome by Ma. Remedios Bantug, President of Zonta Club of Bacolod.

The program’s goals and objectives were presented by Victoria V. Wieneke, President of Kabisig ng Kalahi Inc.

The event was further enriched by inspirational messages from key figures involved in making the Food Share Program a reality. Ma. Regina Victoria F. Lagdameo, Director of Hawakapwa Foundation Inc.

A special message from the Honorable Mayor Alfredo Abelardo B. Benitez was delivered by Ms. Lea Carmela B. Zayco, Executive Assistant to the Mayor and Head of Bacolod Sectoral Affairs Office. The Mayor’s message highlighted the importance of efforts in addressing local challenges and expressed gratitude to the organizations involved in the endeavor.
