The City Government of Bacolod, on the initiative of Bacolod Business Development and Investment Promotions Center (BBDIPC), has an ongoing trade fair at the activity center of Ayala Malls Capitol Central.
Titled “Locally Yours”, it is a pop-up exhibition of 21 participating start-up businesses offering various local products from Bacolod City.
In partnership with the Metro Bacolod Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MBCCI) and Ayala Malls Capitol Central, the fair aims to promote Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and help them to benefit from the value-chain of large companies like Ayala Malls.
Chair on Trade and Commerce Councilor Vladimir Gonzalez stressed the city’s plans of automation of business registration process to speed up acquisition of permits, infrastructures and financial services that are “affordable, effective, and safe to our entrepreneurs.”
“Immerse, connect, and not be afraid to work in different fields. You can thrive in ecosystems where you can elevate and propel each others’ work”, he shared.
Along with him in the launching were Chair on Tourism Councilor Jason Villarosa, Chair on Chair on Culture and Arts Councilor Em Ang, Local Economic and Investment Promotions Officer Jonah Javier, MBCCI Directors Benjamin Ortega and Dwight Carbon, and Ayala General Manager Sharon Ciocon.
The trade fair is in celebration of Bacolod Business week 2022 and it will be from Nov. 21 to 25.
