The City Government of Bacolod assured the vendors of Libertad Public Market, Monday, January 9, to extend help and deliver the commodities from farmers and suppliers directly to their market.

The pledged conveyance came after Mayor Albee Benitez convened with the vendors association of the said market discussing their concerns on vending spaces and to mitigate conflict between suppliers coincidingly vending in the Libertad market.

Benitez emphasized on searching for possible lowest cost of products for vendors to retail in order to lessen the inflation on foods.

He also underscored the due process market vendors need to follow in regards to selling within the market space and the involvement of Sangguniang Panlungsod on their vending requests. Bacolod City government will find places legal for vendors to sell, Benitez said.
