January 4, 2023- With the support of Mayor Albee Benitez, 103 beneficiaries in Bacolod City received financial aid following the devastating fire in Barangay 7 last October 2023. The disbursements took place at the City Treasurer’s Office.

Families with completely damaged homes in barangay 7 were granted Php15,000.00, those with partially damaged houses received Php10,000.00, and sharers were provided with Php5,000.00.

In addition, families affected by the demolition due to road widening in Barangay 7 also received Php10,000.00 in assistance.

Families affected by Typhoon Egay received corresponding assistance today as well. Distribution for Typhoon Egay beneficiaries will continue on Monday, January 8, 2024.
