Licensed Professional Teachers from Bacolod City College (BCC) met Mayor Albee Benitez, yesterday, January 8, 2024, at the Bacolod City Government Center lobby, showcasing BCC’s excellence in education. In the September 2023 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT), BCC produced 202 newly licensed teachers, emerging as the top-performing Higher Education Institution (HEI) in Western Visayas.

BCC’s commitment to fostering competent educators shone through, with an outstanding 58 out of 62 first-takers and one out of two re-takers passing the Elementary Level, securing the top spot in Region 6. In addition, 132 out of 144 first-takers and 11 out of 19 re-takers excelled in the Secondary Level exam, claiming the third spot in Region 6.

As one of the 11 local colleges in the region, BCC proudly stands as a high-performing institution, recognized for cultivating licensed teachers.
