March 20, 2024 – Representatives from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), together with the City Sports Coordinator gathered at the City Mayor’s Office today to discuss matters and address concerns pertaining to the much-awaited ROTC Games 2024.

The attendees were Staff Sergeant Jouei A. Pepito Training NCOIC-Bacolod, Staff Sergeant Larry Bayig Operations NCOIC-Bacolod, and City Sports Coordinator Adrian G. Melocoton.

The event aims to begin on May 26-June 1 with Panaad Park and Stadium as the proposed venue. There is an estimated number of 5,000-6,000 athletes coming from different regions all over Visayas. During the meeting, it was suggested to hold a dialogue with DepEd to ensure the success of the event.

Finally, the event will feature various sports disciplines such as Aquatics/Swimming, Arnis, Athletics, Boxing, E-Sports, Kickboxing, Sepak Takraw, Taekwondo, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball, Target shooting, Chess, Raiders Competition, and Ms. ROTC.
