Deputy & Consul Chief Timothy Ruberton paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Albee Benitez, along with City Councilors Thaddy Sayson, Al Espino, Simple Distrito, Vladimir Gonzalez and Jason Villarosa.

During the visit, the American Embassy recognized Bacolod DSSD for their extraordinary work and support in assisting a US citizen with medical conditions. Alma D. Gustilo, Bacolod DSSD OIC, Anjanette S. Servano, RSW, Social Welfare Officer II and Patricia Rissy May Z. Esmino, RSW, Social Welfare Officer 1. They provided dedicated care to this individual for almost four months and facilitated the turnover of personal belongings, such as the laptop and the cash.
