Bacolod City came alive with vibrant colors and imaginative costumes as the Negros Cosplay Tour, Bacolod Leg took center stage at Robinson’s Mall on July 2, 2023. The event is a collaboration between Bacon Pop, the local government of Bacolod, FMR 91.1, and the esteemed World Cosplay Summit, aimed to discover the province’s representative for the upcoming Visayas Cosplay Tour.

The venue buzzed with excitement as 22 talented cosplayers from across Bacolod City and Negros Occidental gathered to showcase their skills and compete for the coveted title. These dedicated cosplayers had invested countless hours meticulously crafting their costumes, aiming to bring beloved characters to life.

After a fierce competition filled with incredible displays of creativity and passion, two individuals stood out among the rest. Art Sal, who portrayed the formidable Goblin Slayer, claimed the honorable title of 1st Runner-Up. Art’s attention to detail and captivating portrayal captured the judges’ attention and earned him a well-deserved spot among the top contenders.

However, it was Ene Rin who stole the spotlight, impressing both the judges and the audience with her embodiment of Hoshino Ai. Ene’s meticulous craftsmanship and ability to truly become the character earned her the championship title for the Negros Cosplay Tour, Bacolod Leg.

Completing the trio of winners, Pink Neko1 showcased her talent and creativity as the Golden Woman, securing a well-deserved 3rd place among the talented pool of cosplayers.
