Bacolod City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO) successfully held the 2023 National Disaster Resilience Month Summit, Symposium, and Interactive discussion at L’Fisher Hotel Bacolod City on Sunday, July 30, 2023.

This event was graced by Councilor Celia Matea Flor together with Punong Barangays and 61 DRRM barangay focal persons, along with representatives from Bacolod City DRRM Council, Sanggunian Panglungson, PDRRMO, CCLDO, and Bacolod City Nutrition Office.

The successful summit was made possible through the initiative of Hon. Albee Benitez, the Chairperson of the BCDRRMC Council, in close coordination with Dr. Anna Maria Laarni M. Pornan, head of the CDRRMO along with her dedicated team.

The symposium featured insightful presentations from two esteemed speakers, Dr. Rted Esguerra and Bacolod City Fire Marshall CINS. Stephen G. Jardeleza.

Moreover, Ms. Jemimah Isubal, representing Ms. Ma. Aletha Nogra, OIC of the Office of the Civil Defense Western Visayas, delivered a motivating speech to inspire the members of the DRRM members.
