November 18, 2023 – The Bacolod City Public Library (BCPL) Basic Computer Training (BCT) program Batch 21 held its culmination and Induction Ceremony at Bacolod City Public Library last Nov. 17, 2023.

The activity is a celebration of their 25-day Training Course under the Digital Library Program by Mrs. Remia A. Quebrar, RL.

Present in the ceremony are; Atty. Rhett Demonteverde who officiated the induction of batch officers and new members, and committee on Education Chair Ms. Rose Mayo, in accepting the graduation of batch 21.

Graduates from this program will not only gain valuable expertise but will also automatically become members of the “FRIENDS OF BACOLOD CITY PUBLIC LIBRARY.” This organization, founded by Mrs. Quebrar in 2016 is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Alongside the activity is the distribution of certificates to Special Class from DSSD Day Care Center teachers. These educators attended a one-week session from August 7-10, 2023, enhancing their capabilities in providing quality education and library services to their students.
