June 26, 2023 – In partnership with SM City Bacolod and Bacolod City Government, a simulation exercise was done to test the servers and equipment that would be used by the various government departments that will provide quick and easy service through the SM Government Services Express Center.

City Satellite Offices are as follow; counter 1 is intended for the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – for the purpose of business name registration– counter 2: Zoning Division, under the City Planning and Development Office– to secure zoning locational clearance for business permit– counter 3: – Office of the Building Official, counter 4: Bureau of Fire Protection –for fire safety inspection and evaluation.

Counter 5 area for the City Health Office –transactions on Vax Certifications and Health Certificate– Counter 6: Business Permit and Licensing Office – for issuance of Mayor’s Permit, burial, and Mayor’s Certification/Clearance– counter 7: Local Civil Registrars –PhilSys Birth Registration Assistance Program– counter 8: Department of Social Services and Development–Issuance of OSCA ID, Social Pension and Ladderized scheme of centenarian incentives.

Meanwhile, counters 9 to 12 are designated to the City Treasurer’s office for licensing and land tax assessment and payment.

Government Express Center is a start of moving forward in the direction that Mayor Albee Benitez has envisioned for all Bacolodnons, adapting digitalization for efficient and accessible government services.

SM Government Services Express Center is one of the two express service centers in the city; the first launched Bacolod Express Services Office is located in Ayala Malls Capitol Central, where both establishments will be opened to the public soon.
