December 16, 2022 – Bacolod City Government Public Employment Service Office (PESO) received 8 merits in this year’s PESO Year-End Performance Assessment (YEPA), last December 15, 2022 at MO2 Westown Hotel, Mandurriao, IloIlo City.

Attended by Bacolod PESO Department Head, Jovelyn Canoy-Dato-on, the YEPA is in search of the Provincial and regional level best performing PESO given by Department of Labor and Employment Region 6.

Here are the major awards received by PESO Bacolod;

Best Public Employment Service Office in Employment Facilitation – Highest Number of Job Fair Conducted (Regional Winner), Best Public Employment Service Office in the Implementation of Special Program for the Employment of Student (SPES)(Provincial Winner), and Best Public Employment Service Office in Employment Facilitation – Highest Number of Job Fair Conducted (Regional Winner).

Also certificate of recognitions awarded for facilitating employment through the conduct of Job Fair and under Highly Urbanized City Category, PESO Bacolod is hailed as Best Public Employment Service Office in Statistical and Performance Reporting System (SPRS) on Highest numbers of Job Vacancy Solicited, Registered Applicants, Referred Applicants, and Placed Applicants.
