The City of Bacolod received the Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLGIF) of Php 2.3 million during a check turnover ceremony on January 9, 2024, at JR Hall, Diversion 21 Hotel, Iloilo City.

The SGLGIF, serves as a financial grant to support local development projects aligned with the LGU’s priorities in their Local Development Investment Program (LDIP) or Provincial Development Investment Program (PDIP).

Mayor Alfredo Abelardo B. Benitez was represented by Ms. Mary Jean L. Ramos, Ms. Imelda A. Williams, and Ms. Arlene J. Memoria during the event.

The ceremony also included the participation of DILG Bacolod City OIC City Director Christian M. Nagaynay and LGOO VI May Theresa A. Malongayon.
