January 8, 2024- Together with Mayor Albee Benitez and Councilor Jason Villarosa, SP Committee Chairperson on Tourism, the Bacolaodiat Incorporated headed by Bacolaodiat Festival Chairman John Stephen Sy, Vice Chairman Bob Cordova and Board Member Michelle Chua joined press conference earlier at the City Mayor’s Office to unveil exciting plans for the upcoming Bacolaodiat Festival.

The Bacolaodiat Festival is set to return to the streets of Lacson and North Capitol Road from Feb. 9-11, marking a grand celebration of the Lunar New Year in Bacolod City.

Bacolaodiat Festival Chairman John Stephen Sy envisions an even more expansive event this year, acknowledging the strong partnership with the Bacolod LGU, under Mayor Albee Benitez’s leadership, and the Chinese community, both instrumental in shaping this cultural celebration over the years.

The dragon year also promises to be a year full of possibilities, creativity, and opportunities.
