Hon. Mayor Albee Benitez, together with SP Chairman on Committee on Education, Councilor Al Espino, spearheaded the event as they handed over 184 desktop computer units with printers and UPS to Legal Officer-DepEd Bacolod City Atty. Jubert Katalbas for School Learning Resource Coordinators (SLRC) of 72 schools in Bacolod and the SLRCs of DepEd Bacolod Division.
The turnover of these sets of computers and supporting equipment is set to bolster the city’s commitment to enhancing the quality of education in the public schools. With access to modern technology, the Learning Resource Coordinators will be better equipped to facilitate effective teaching and learning processes, preparing students for a more digitally advanced future.
