July 14, 2023- In celebration of Nutrition Month, we partnered with Barangay Sum-ag Council and its Stakeholders led by Sir Bob Magalona of ERK-GK Village, we launched the Coconut Tree Planting Activity in GK Village along with the Signing of the Memorandum of Agreement between the ERK-GK Village, represented by Sir Bob and Barangay Sum-ag, led by Kap Rodney Carmona in the sustenance of food security in Barangay Sum-ag through their partnership and other stakeholders.

Additional 1,566 sqm for community garden, 783 sqm for agricultural including the use and establishment of fish pond was shared by GK Village to Barangay Sum-ag and its beneficiaries.

Concluding the signing of MOA is the Coconut Fruit-Bearing Tree Planting Activity following the Project HAPAG’s aim to secure food for all Filipinos. Thank you Ms. Maricar and the City Agriculture Office for the 44 Coconut Seedlings we planted today in GK Village.

MELLPI Pro was likewise conducted to assess and evaluate the performance of the Barangay and the BNS and all others working for nutrition.
