August 9, 2024–Officials from Sta. Ana, Cagayan Valley, conducted their first benchmarking session with Mayor Albee Benitez (MABB) and the Bacolod City Council. The discussion focused on Bacolod City’s waste management strategies, including the Comprehensive Plan on Waste Consumption, which emphasizes recycling. MABB also introduced a QR Code System for government-issued IDs and permits to prevent fraud, ensuring document authenticity through online verification.

The Sta. Ana delegation, led by Mayor Nelson Robinion and Vice Mayor Catherine Ladrido, included Councilors Joel Martinez, Jovemar Castillo, Reginald Perucho, and Araceli Torralba. They were joined by Bacolod City Councilors Em Ang, Celia Flor, Simple Distrito, Kalaw Puentevella, Thaddy Sayson, and Jason Villarosa.
