Exciting developments in the Rum Barrel Art Competition as 25 outstanding participants advanced from a pool of 45 applicants to compete in the Rum Barrel Art Competition today, August 14, at Ayala Malls Capitol Central.

Innovative participants repurposed retired oak barrels by painting them with their beautiful art. The old barrels are from Tanduay’s Manapla Barrel Farm.

Finished material will be on display at the Ayala Malls.

The moment of truth approaches as judging is scheduled this Friday, August 15.

Stay tuned for the big announcement of winners on August 19, a special highlight during the upcoming free concert at the Bacolod City Government Center grounds.

First Prize: Php 20,000.00 & Certificate

Second Prize: Php 15,000.00 & Certificate

Third Prize: Php 10,000.00, & Certificate

Two (2) Consolation Prize: Php 2,500 each
