October 20, 2024-Out of 15 exceptional candidates vying for the title, Princess Ella Olmilla emerged victorious as Miss Bacolod MassKara 2024. The coronation night, a highlight of this year’s MassKara Festival, was held at the USLS Coliseum.
Ella, a graduate of Colegio San Agustin Bacolod with a degree in Accounting Information Systems, is a passionate advocate for elderly care. She impressed the judges and audience, winning multiple titles, including Best in Swimwear, Best in Evening Gown, and several special sponsor awards such as Miss Merzci, Miss Ysa Botanica, Miss MKU Construction, Miss MassKara Chicken, Miss SM Store Bacolod, Miss Bacolod JOR Travel & Tours, Miss Bingo Plus, and the Radiant Smile Award.
Akeisha Nicole Nuarin secured the 1st runner-up position, also winning the Best in Festival award, while Cindy Valencia claimed 2nd runner-up and received the Best in Talent, Miss Dito Telecommunity, and Miss Northwest Inn titles.
Distinguished guests at the event included Bacolod City Mayor Albee Benitez, Congressman Greg Gasataya, former Mayor Monico Puentevella, and Victorias City Mayor Javi Benitez. Also in attendance were Councilors Cindy Rojas, Claudio Puentevella, Thaddy Sayson, Jason Villarosa, and Israel Salanga, along with Bacolod MassKara Festival Chairman Jojie Dingcong and Bacolod Yuhum Foundation officials.
The coronation was hosted by actor Marco Gumabao and Cristalle Belo-Pitt, with a special performance by GMA artist Patrick Quiroz. The Miss Bacolod MassKara 2024 pageant was directed by Rodney Ascalon and chaired by Carlos Durana.
