ᴊᴜʟʏ 12, 2023- The vibrant city of Bacolod is set to witness an impressive showcase of strength and athleticism as it hosts the highly anticipated 2023 National Weightlifting Championship held at SM Northwing in Bacolod City.

Headed by Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz-Naranjo, the highly anticipated event held from July 10-16, brought together talented weightlifters from across the country, promising an exciting display of skill and determination.

This year’s championship held particular significance as it served as a qualifying event for selected weightlifting categories. The stakes were high, as the ultimate champion would earn the honor of representing the Philippines in the upcoming 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.
