July 19, 2024– The Person with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) and the Bacolod Integration Federation of PWD Associations Inc. (BIFPA) have launched their celebration of National Disability Rights Week, which runs from July 17 to 23, 2024. This week-long event aims to promote awareness and inclusion for persons with disabilities (PWDs) in Bacolod City.

A series of activities have been planned to engage the community and highlight the talents and achievements of PWDs. One of the events, the Paralympic Games, took place yesterday at the University of St. La Salle. These games featured various sports competitions such as Swimming, Table Tennis, Chess and Volleyball, providing a platform for PWDs to showcase their athletic skills and foster camaraderie.
