January 22, 2025 – Mayor Albee Benitez welcomed the new Bacolod City Water District (BACIWA) Board of Directors during a courtesy call and oath-taking ceremony at the City Mayor’s Office today.

The new board is composed of:

– Atty. Sonya M. Verdeflor – Chairman

– Mr. Edgardo S. Uychiat – Vice Chairman

– Ms. Clarissa L. Araneta – Secretary

– Ms. Rich Ann P. Zayco – Treasurer

– Atty. Lorendo K. Dilag – Auditor

Mayor Albee Benitez urged the board to address water supply challenges and improve services for Bacolodnons. The board pledged their commitment to transparency and efficient operations to fulfill BACIWA’s mission of providing reliable water services.
