April 12, 2024 – Under Mayor Albee Benitez’s commitment to prioritize public health, the city officially recognized Metro Bacolod General Hospital (MBGH) as a partner hospital of the Bacolod City Comprehensive Health Program (BacCHP) today at the City Mayor’s Office, Bacolod City Government Center.
Present during the meeting were BacCHP Officer and Special Assistant to the Mayor, Engr. Mae Cuaycong, Special Advisor for Health and BacCHP Medical Director, Dr. Edwin Miraflor, Jr., Special Adviser for Health, Dr. Eric Saratan, Vice President of Metro Bacolod General Hospital, Ana Ma. Nanette G. Arriola, and MBGH staff members Mylen Vasquez, Christine Marie D. Lim, Lilibeth G. Jareño, and Kristine Joy Salcedo.
With Metro Bacolod General Hospital joining the program, alongside six other Bacolod-based hospitals including Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital, Bacolod Queen of Mercy Hospital, South Bacolod General Hospital, Riverside Medical Center, The Doctors’ Hospital, Inc., and the Adventist Medical Center, Bacolodnons’ health-related concerns will be addressed more effectively. This collaboration ensures that public healthcare services are efficient, competent, and accessible to all residents.
Metro Bacolod General Hospital will officially begin accepting BacCHP patients on April 17th.
