February 26, 2024 – Mayor Albee Benitez readily accommodated the courtesy call of the new set of officers of the Negros Press Club today at the City Mayor’s Office, Bacolod City Government Center.

The officers present are President President Erwin Ambo Delilan, Vice President Nida Buenafe, Secretary Lourd John Diaz, Treasurer Nanette Guadalquiver, Auditor Nona Magbanua, and Directors Mae Singuay, Yves Montecillo, Rey Siason, and Dolly Yasa.

The organization was founded in 1936 and it is the oldest press club in the country now with almost 200 members from print, broadcast, and television outlets in Negros Occidental.

The 2024 officers will officially assume office on March 1.
