January 21, 2025 – Mayor Albee Benitez meets with BCPO City Director PCol. Joeresty Coronica, together with the Bacolod Station Commanders to address peace and order concerns today at the City Mayor’s Office, Bacolod City Government Center.

Together with Mayor Albee Benitez are Secretary to the Mayor Atty. Marty Go, City Legal Officer Atty. Karol Joseph Chiu, and Councilor Al Espino.

During the meeting, City Director PCol. Joeresty Coronica shared updates on drug-related cases and as a response, Mayor Albee suggested to make a campaign for drug awareness with high school students as the target audience to lessen the use of drugs among the public.

The city government’s constant coordination with the Bacolod City Police Office marks its commitment to upholding a high level of peace and order and ensuring a community free from violence and harm.
