November 29, 2023- Mayor Albee Benitez warmly welcomes Department of Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco and the delegates at Bantug Lake Ranch for the Philippine Experience Program in Bacolod and Negros Occidental.

The Bacolod leg of PEP was a Fiesta lunch showcasing Bacolod City’s local dishes, especially the chicken inasal which captures the rich and deliscious flavors that define Bacolod. The delegation had a short tour of the Bantug Lake Ranch.

Present in the event were SP Chair in Tourism Councilor Jason Villarosa, SP Chair in History, Cultures and Arts Councilor Em Ang, Councilor Simple Distrito, Councilor Vladimir Gonzalez, Chief Tourism Operations Officer Ma. Teresa Manalili, Bacolod Consultant on Tourism Tin Mansinares and the Bacolod City Tourism Office.

The festivities continued at the Bacolod City Government Center with a welcoming performance from the Bacolod City Masskara Dancers and followed by a video presentation of Super City Bacolod.

Moreover, Mayor Albee toured Sec. Frasco to the City Mayor’s office together with Vice-Mayor El Cid Familliaran and City Councilors.

The day concluded with camaraderie, light snacks, and a quick group photo, showcasing the rich tapestry of Bacolod’s hospitality and cultural vibrancy.
