March 10, 2023 – City Mayor’s Office – Urban Basic Services Division launched the INSUMIX Dietary Supplementation Program or the INSUMIX Feeding for 6-59 Months Underweight beneficiaries in Barangay Sum-ag, Bacolod City this morning.

Of the total 29 Undernourished Preschoolers found during the Operation Timbang Plus (OPT) 2023, 23 undernourished PS will be enrolled in the INSUMIX Feeding Program with the Minimum Nutrition Package which aims to provide holistic interventions to identified undernourished preschoolers.

INSUMIX Feeding Plus because the program kicked off with sessions on Nutrition and Pinggang Pinoy, Parent Effectiveness Session, Responsible Parenthood, Family Planning, Home Gardening, Health Services and a Livelihood assistance for qualified families whose enrolled beneficiaries have successfully completed the program.

This event is also in collaboration with Bacolod City Health Office, City Department of Health Office, Bacolod City Population Office, Bacolod City Agriculture Office, and Department of Social Services and Development as members of the City Nutrition Committee.

The INSUMIX Feeding Program is launched in all barangays of Bacolod City with eligible Undernourished Preschoolers.
