December 11, 2024 – The City Nutrition Committee (CNC) held a quarterly meeting today at the SP Session Hall, Bacolod City Government Center.

Together with the Nutritionist-Dieticians’ Association of the Philippines (NDAP) – Negros Occidental Chapter and City Nutrition Program Coordinator and UBSD Head Lora Clarin, various government departments were present, including the DRRMO and CCLDO.

The meeting covered numerous agendas such as the Presentation of the Updated Local Nutrition Action Plan (LNAP) 2025, Presentation of the Green Banner Seal of Compliance in recognition of the city’s local nutrition efforts, and the conduct of a Nutrition Wellness Activity for CNC members.

Moreover, with the presence of the registered nutritionist dietician from NDAP-Negros Occidental, the nutrition wellness activity covered height, weight, vital signs, and blood pressure checking and the Nutritionist Dietician Counseling.

With the arrival of the Christmas season, the CNC reminds the public to be mindful of one’s food and nutrition intake for a healthy and joyful Christmas.
