On February 22, 2024, the City Human Resource Office hosted the Citizen’s Charter Write Shop in collaboration with the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) at Middletown Inn Bacolod. This initiative aligns with the directives of RA 11032, the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018.
The primary goal of the write shop is to refine the agency’s Citizen’s Charter, ensuring its alignment with the standards set forth in RA 11032.
Among the objectives of the event are understanding RA 11032 and updating the Citizen’s Charter, presented by Josephine Venus Castillo, Chief Administrative Officer, and Atty. Charry Mae Valenzuela.
Department Heads and Administrative Officers delved into the essential elements of the law, gaining insights into its implications for service delivery and administrative processes. They also worked towards formulating an updated Citizen’s Charter that adheres to the requirements of RA 11032. This includes outlining clear and transparent procedures for availing government services.
By embracing the principles of transparency, accountability, and efficiency embodied in RA 11032, this aims to enhance public trust and satisfaction in the City HR Office’s services.
