A capacity-building seminar will be held for the transport sectors, cooperatives, and corporations of Bacolod City, organized by the Office of Transportation Cooperatives (OTC) and the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), in collaboration with the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Region 6

The capacity-building activities will cover various topics, including the reintroduction of the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program, Fleet Management Orientation, Cooperativism, and more.

The seminar will take place over two days, starting from June 26, 2023, to June 27, 2023, at the SP Session Hall of the Bacolod City Government. The sessions will commence at 8 AM. The Cooperative Development Authority will conduct the seminar on the first day, while the Office of Transportation Cooperatives will handle the second day.

The lead agencies and offices strongly encourage all transport operators, drivers, and cooperatives to attend the seminar to enhance their understanding of the modernization program.
