August 31, 2024- The Bureau of Fire Protection celebrated its 33rd Founding Anniversary today with a Fun Run event themed “Takboo Laban Sa Sunog,” organized by the Bacolod City Fire Station. The Fun Run route spanned from the Bacolod City Fire Station to 20th Street, culminating at Robinsons Place Bacolod.

Various sectors of the community, including government employees, private organizations, and local residents, actively participated in the event. The Fun Run was more than just a physical activity; it served as a platform to promote physical fitness, strengthen community ties, and, most importantly, raise awareness about fire prevention and safety within the city.

With the theme “Takboo Laban Sa Sunog,” the event highlighted the Bureau’s dedication to promoting a culture of preparedness and safety, ensuring that the community is well-equipped to prevent and respond to fire-related emergencies.
